The City was supposed to begin to reseal and re-stripe the parking lot off of Magnolia Ave. and Grove St. next to City Hall Building (10 N. Grove St.) Jan. 21 and 22, but due to inclement weather, the project had to be postponed. We will announce the new dates asap.

Generally, our hiring process consists of application submission, review, assessment/skills testing (if applicable), interviews, background check, conditional offer of employment, pre-employment requirements (if applicable), and official job offer. The entire process may take up to 90 days before a final hiring decision is made.

Only those applicants with the most job-related qualifications will be selected for interview and further consideration. These applicants will be contacted via email shortly after the closing date on the job posting (if applicable). Final candidates for special risk and mandatory testing positions under s. 440.102 FS will be required to undergo drug testing as a condition of employment. Final candidates for positions that are physically demanding or expose the employee to safety hazards will be required to undergo a pre-employment physical. Final employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of required drug testing and/or physical, as well as a complete background check including criminal history and driver’s license check (if applicable).
