On Sunday evening, the first Miss Georgefest, Caroline Louise Schapansky, was crowned. A new Miss Eustis, Chloie Sebree, was chosen, as was a new Miss Teen Eustis, Sydnie Sebree. They were crowned by outgoing Miss Eustis, Taylor Davidson, and outgoing Miss Teen Eustis, Lauren Simple, along with Eustis Mayor Michael Holland. The reigning Miss Florida Juliette Valle served as emcee for the pageants, held as part of the 122nd annual Georgefest in Eustis. Join us in celebrating our first Miss Georgefest along with the newly appointed Miss Eustis and Miss Teen Eustis!
In attendance was Commissioner Nan Cobb along with her granddaughter Madison Cobb. Commissioner Gary Ashcraft also attended the pageants. The reigning Mrs Lake County Shikita Hill and her daughter Brena-Michal Hill were also in the audience. Mayor Michael Holland was at the pageant and took part in crowning the first Miss Georgefest, and the newly appointed Miss Eustis and Miss Teen Eustis. Commissioner Willie Hawkins took part as one of the pageant judges.
