All five Eustis City Commissioners jointly attended the amazing services that were held to honor Martin Luther King Jr.
The Eustis Ministerial Alliance held an Ecumenical Service at the Trinity Church as a part of the 2024 MLK Celebration. Additionally, the Friendship Christian Methodist Episcopal Church hosted a service at the Unitarian Church to honor the Legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.

On Monday, January 15th, Eustis City Commissioners Willie Hawkins, Nan Cobb and Gary Ashcraft were joined by Chief Cragi Capri, Chief Mike Swanson, and Economic Development Director Al Latimer Monday at the Martin Luther King Jr. Day events. A Unity Walk from Eustis High Curtright Campus was followed by a community event at Carver Park. Members of the community, Pastor Kelly, Coach Johnnie, the Jr. Panther Cheerleaders and the Daytona Beach Police Honor Guard were among those who participated in the event.
