Eustis City Clerk Appointed

The City Commission appointed Christine Halloran as the City’s new City Clerk following the retirement of former City Clerk, Mary Montez, who worked for the City for ten years. Mary plans on spending time with family and traveling, as well as gardening and volunteering her time with local organizations.

Christine is a Certified Municipal Clerk and in the process of completing her Master Municipal Clerk designation by the IIMC – International Institute of Municipal Clerks.  She was previously the five-term elected Town Clerk for Easton, Connecticut, where she served for over eight years. Christine earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and her Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown University. She enjoys community service, fishing, camping, traveling, and spending time with her family near and far.

Christine and her husband Rich have been married for almost 22 years. They have three children; one planning to attend Eustis High School, one beginning at the University of Miami in the fall, and one who completed her freshman year at Loyola University in Chicago. Their family is thrilled to be new residents of Eustis.
