Water Department Blue Pipe
City public works projects that are currently taking place throughout the city limits. 

 

Bates Ave WWTP Expansion:

The Phase 1 engineering package has been
completed.  Phase 2 Engineering has been awarded, and the team is now in design to provide the construction plans. The engineer and Construction Manager provided a cost estimate that was submitted to City staff and are currently reviewing
alternatives.

Eastern WWTP Transfer Pump Station:

This project will coincide with the reclaim pond lining project.  Construction site crews have finished the installation process on the pump station and have started testing the new equipment. The contractor is scheduled to do a final walkthrough. 

Woodward Ave. Improvements:  

Update (11/02/22):

The contractor’s crews finished installing the sewer pipe between Donnelly St. and Schultz St., manholes at several intersections along Woodward Ave., and the stormwater piping and structures along Woodward Ave. The crews finished rebuilding the curbing and roadways and are now working on milling/paving. The project is estimated to be completed by end November 2022.

Umatilla Wastewater Interconnection with the City of Eustis:

The City of Umatilla’s contractor completed the installation of the
wastewater pipe and fittings in order to make the connection to our Wastewater Treatment Plant. The crews installed new piping and resurfaced the roads and curbs on Pinkney St., Hollywood Ave., and Bates Ave. Currently, the crew is continuing to work on the electrical and mechanical components.
