The City Clerk’s office is dedicated to providing quality services to the public. These services include maintaining and ensuring control of all official City documents and the preservation of historical records, attesting the Mayor’s signature and assuring compliance with Florida’s Public Record and Sunshine Laws. As qualifying officer of municipal elections, the City Clerk works closely with candidates for City Commission.
The City Clerk’s office also responds to public record requests, performs public relation duties with the public and media, and prepares City Commission agendas and minutes.
Public Records Requests
The City of Eustis adheres to all State of Florida public access laws and will promptly respond to all public record requests. In addition to any other method of requesting public records under Florida law, public records may also be obtained by contacting the City Clerk’s office at (352) 483-5430, by email at email@example.com, by mail at P. O. Drawer 68, Eustis, FL 32727-0068 or in person at the City Clerk’s office located in the City Hall at 10 N. Grove St., Eustis.
For your convenience and to ensure accuracy of documents supplied pursuant to your request, you may also complete the Public Records Request Form , which may be emailed or mailed to the City Clerk, or dropped off at City Hall. Please note that a written request form is NOT required to submit a records request.
NOTE: The City may charge in advance for copies and may charge a fee for extensive use of clerical or supervisory labor or extensive information technology resources.
Change to Lien Search Process
Effective May 16, 2020
Attention title companies, closing agents and others obtaining information about outstanding debt owed to the City:
The City of Eustis has partnered with Orange Lien Data, LLC to process lien search requests/estoppels effective May 16, 2020. The City of Eustis will no longer be accepting lien research/estoppel requests via fax, post or email. All requests should be processed through Orange Lien Data, LLC.

For your convenience, you may use one of the following methods to order lien searches. All major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) will be accepted payable to: Orange Lien Data, LLC. There will be a fee of $17.50 for each lien search request.
The complete property address, name of the owner(s) and parcel ID number will be required for all searches of outstanding municipal liens, code enforcement liens, building permits and outstanding utility balances. Orders placed via email will be returned and must be placed through the Orange Lien Data portal.
