If you are unable to make an online payment, it may be due to one of the reasons listed below.
Possible Causes
• The online payment system may be experiencing temporary technical difficulties
• The utility account may have online payment restrictions
• The PIN number entered may be incorrect
Online Payment Restrictions – What This Means
Online payment access may be restricted on an account for several reasons, including but not limited to:
• The customer has requested in-office payments only
• Fraud-related activity has been identified on the account
• The customer has a history of returned payments (NSF) or delinquency and has been limited by the City to cash or credit card payments
• A chargeback was issued on a previous credit or debit payment
• The City has been unable to reach the customer due to invalid or missing contact information
• Required customer contact has not been returned after multiple attempts
