1. Check out a book at the Eustis Memorial Library. Entry slip will be provided at check out, bring the slip to the event to enter!
2. Calling all Kids! This one's for you! Color Eustis - Download a color page here(PDF, 86KB) or come color with us during the Spring Showdown event. Bring your finished pictures to the City of Eustis Tent and earn your entry slip.
3. We need sports balls! It's summer, we want kids to go outside and have fun. We've teamed up with Eustis Parks and Recreation who will be distributing donated sports balls to kids right here in Eustis. Basketballs, Footballs, Baseballs, Kickballs - bring a new ball to the City of Eustis Events Department before Friday, April 26 or to the City of Eustis Tent at Spring Showdown for an entry into the giveaway.
4. Sign-up for our City of Eustis Events email updates! Visit the City Tent during the Spring Showdown, scan the QR code and show us your completed sign-up screen for another entry slip.
5. The Big Red Bus is coming! Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. be someone's hero by donating to Oneblood. The bus will be located on Ferran Park Dr., Saturday only.
6. Shop at the Humane Society Resale Shop! Located at 11 N. Eustis St., make a purchase between now and April 26th, 2024. Bring your receipt to the City of Eustis Tent during the Spring Showdown for an entry slip.
7. Wear your favorite City of Eustis merchandise to the races! Your super-soft Georgefest t-shirt or Hometown Celebration ball cap are perfect. Wear your gear, visit the tent, and earn an entry.
8. Donate to Lake Cares Food Pantry. Bring 2 non-perishable food items to the City of Eustis Events Department prior to April 26 or to the City of Eustis tent during the event.
9. Tag "City of Eustis Events & Tourism" in a social post during the Spring Showdown, April 27 & 28, show us your post at the City Tent and earn another entry!
10. Buy a PANTHER PAW! Purchase a Panther Paw at the Events Department prior to April 26 or at the event. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Eustis High School and you will earn another entry into the giveaway.
BONUS ENTRIES! Wait! You can still earn one more! Visit Downtown Eustis, shop, eat, explore, and get caught by one of our spotters and they will give you an additional entry slip for a total of 11 chances to win!
FREE T-SHIRT! Who doesn't want a free shirt? Complete every task and keep all 10 slips to show us at the City of Eustis Tent, and we will give you a FREE Eustis Event t-shirt.
Limit 10 entries and 1 bonus entry per person. Only 1 entry per item listed above may be earned. (I.E. You can donate more than 2 canned food items, but you will only receive 1 entry slip for that task.) All entries must be placed into the bin at the City of Eustis Tent during the Spring Showdown event, Saturday, April 27, 2024 - 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 28, 2024 - 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Donations will be accepted both prior to the event at the City of Eustis Events Department (West side of City Hall), and during the event at the City of Eustis tent. Entry slips will be provided with each donation, however individuals MUST attend the Spring Showdown to place their slip into the bin. Entry slips may not be dropped off and will only be accepted April 27 and 28 at Ferran Park.
