Busker Festival Performers Deadline is Friday

The annual Busker Festival in the City of Eustis is Saturday March 30, 2024, and the deadline for performers to register is this week.

A “busker” is a person who performs music or other entertainment in public spaces for donations, and this event also allows those who enter a chance to compete for a $3,000 Grand Prize, thanks to sponsors such as Bay and Lake Pharmacy. Attendees are encouraged to shop at Eustis businesses in March and bring their receipts to the festival to receive tickets to vote for the performers, with the winner receiving a $1,500 People’s Choice Award from the Lake Eustis Area Chamber of Commerce. Other prizes will also be awarded at the festival, which always features a wide variety of entertainment and fun for the whole family.

Applications to perform are on the city’s website at Eustis Busker Festival and are due on Friday, March 8, 2024.
