City of Eustis Offices and City Hall will be closed Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Normal Business Hours will resume on Monday, July 7, 2025.

To ensure the quality of the City’s sewer system, RCM Utilities will be performing smoke testing in a portion of the sanitary collection system. Residents may see smoke emanating from roof vents and sewer lines/manholes. Testing will begin on Monday, June 30 and will continue for approximately 3 days. More than half of the City of Eustis Fire Department showed their support as new Firefighters/EMTs, promotions and recognitions were held at the Eustis City Commission meeting Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024. Garrett Griswold, Orlando Lorenzo, and Nicholas Zeitler were pinned as new Firefighters/EMTs by family members following the swearing in ceremony by Eustis Fire Chief Mike Swanson. Senior Inspector Niki Everson and Lt./Paramedic Michael Peckham received promotions, as did Deputy Chief of Operations Shawn Kelleher. Lt. Chad Williamson, Eng/Medic Tanner Long, and Firefighter Garrett Griswold were all recognized for helping a Eustis citizen give birth to her first child at her home. Mayor Michael Holland, Vice-Mayor Emily Lee, City Manager Tom Carrino, City Attorney Sasha Garcia, along with City Commissioners Nan Cobb, Gary Ashcraft and Willie Hawkins, all congratulated the hardworking members of the department.
