Beginning on Monday, April 28, HyrdoMax USA will be testing 500 fire hydrants and repainting 94 fire hydrants. The work will start in Grand Island and continue east until each hydrant has been serviced.

The City of Eustis will debut “Duke,” the world’s largest rubber duck, at Georgefest 2025. Standing more than six stories tall and weighing over 11 tons, Duke will be on display Feb. 15-22, 2025, during the annual Georgefest celebration, the longest-running George Washington’s Birthday festival in the United States.
This larger-than-life duck will be the star attraction of this year’s festivities, which are themed “Out of This World.” Visitors can expect a must-see photo opportunity with Duke, a giant rubber duck that will captivate festivalgoers of all ages.
“We are thrilled to bring such a unique, exciting, and out-of-this-world opportunity to Georgefest,” said Miranda Muir, director of events and communications. “Thanks to our sponsor, Duke Energy, visitors will have the chance to enjoy this iconic display alongside a variety of fun and engaging activities throughout the week.”
