On Saturday, February 22, 2025, the 123rd Annual Georgefest Parade will be taking place in the City of Eustis. The parade starts at 10 a.m. and ends at approximately noon. The parade will begin at the intersection of Bay Street and Norton Avenue. The parade route travels north on Bay Street in the southbound lanes where it concludes at Bates Avenue.
To accomplish this, State Road 19 (Bay Street) in Eustis will be closed from County Road 44 to Herrick Avenue from 9 a.m. to noon. During this time, all southbound traffic will be re-routed either westbound or eastbound on County Road 44 until the parade concludes. Additionally, all cross streets from Grove Street to Bay Street will be closed for parade safety. Northbound State Road 19 will not be affected and will remain open.
Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and expect delays in the area.
The businesses on State Road 19 between County Road 44 and N. County Road 452 will be open. We will let vehicles have access to patronize those businesses.
We ask for everyone to be patient and plan alternate routes during the duration of the parade.
