Area youth (10 and under) are invited to participate in an oral history of our Nation’s first President, George Washington. Costumes will be available or you are welcome to provide one. Each child has the opportunity to have an individual speaking role. We also encourage those who want to have a background role to participate. This is a fun, community production to allow children to learn about George Washington, while being a part of the longest continuously running event of it’s kind, Georgefest. We hope to make this an annual tradition of families enjoying an evening in Ferran Park, watching their little ones shine on stage!
