Making Daruma will be on Jan. 28 from 1 - 2:30 p.m. at the Eustis Memorial Library

Adults: Join us for an educational and hands-on workshop exploring the cultural history and symbolism of the Daruma, a traditional Japanese good-luck charm. After a brief introduction to the origins and meaning of Daruma dolls, participants will create their own Daruma figure from clay, decorate it with vibrant colors, and take home their finished good-luck charm as a unique memento of Japanese culture. No prior experience is necessary, and all materials are provided. Sign-ups required.
