The St. John's River Water Management District has issued a Phase III Extreme Water Shortage Order, which included Lake County. Restrictions include: One day a week watering, odd numbered addresses on Saturday, even numbered addresses on Sunday, nonresidential on Tuesday, and prohibited between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The Elite Baggerz are bringing their two‑day Bike Rally to Downtown Eustis on Friday and Saturday, April 24–25, 2026.
The weekend will feature live entertainment, bike shows, competitions, and a variety of vendors. Event hours are Friday from 5–10 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m.–11 p.m.
To support the activities, road closures will begin Friday at 5 p.m. and remain in place until the event concludes. The following streets will be closed:
