On Friday, Nov. 28, the City of Eustis will host the 38th annual Light Up Eustis event from 5 – 9 p.m. in Ferran Park. The free event will celebrate the holiday season with live music by the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra, a snow slide, food trucks, vendors and a visit by Santa!
At 6 p.m., attendees are invited to join the countdown to watch the 50-foot Christmas tree, adorned with 13,000 twinkling lights, come to life. For a more serine holiday experience, stroll through Downtown Eustis and see our 27-foot Christmas tree.
Immediately following the tree lighting, Santa will arrive via fire truck. Families are invited to take free pictures with Santa in his North Pole-inspired booth in Ferran Park.
Beginning at 7 p.m., the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra will take the Bandshell stage. The orchestra brings Southern gentleman Jeremy Davis and Clay Johnson together, along with their big band, for a charming, rich and sophisticated show of camaraderie and phenomenal musicianship.
