Eustis in Bloom collaborated with Publix Serves on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, to welcome over 70 volunteers to revitalize the Community Gardens surrounding the historic Clifford House Museum.
Volunteers worked under the direction of Eustis in Bloom committee members to replant flower beds, place new mulch and trim weeds during the Community Connections event. After the planting concluded, several volunteers cleaned the sidewalks to ensure the paths were ready for residents and visitors to enjoy.
Eustis Mayor Emily Lee, Interim City Manager Rick Gierok and City of Eustis Horticulturist Tim Howard also accepted a check from Publix to support future Eustis in Bloom projects.
The Community Gardens and walking paths are open to the public, and visitors are encouraged to stop and take a picture with the Eustis in Bloom butterfly wings near the end of the walkway.
