To ensure the quality of the City’s sewer system, RCM Utilities will be performing smoke testing in a portion of the sanitary collection system. Residents may see smoke emanating from roof vents and sewer lines/manholes. Testing will begin on Monday, June 30 and will continue for approximately 3 days. The Eustis Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the inaugural Father-Son Field Day event, happening on Saturday, June 14 starting at 10 a.m. on Corey Rolle Field, located at 2349 E Bates Ave., Eustis, FL.
This new event offers a chance for dads and sons to team up and compete in a variety of fun-filled Field Day inspired activities. The line-up includes games like Tic Tac Throw, Plank Walk, Noodle Foosball and more. The grand finale of the event will be the Father-Son Relay, with each team racing through four challenges to reach the finish line.
Participants will be provided cold waters and sports drinks to keep their energy high throughout the games. Registration also includes a BBQ lunch, provided by One Smokin’ Guy’s BBQ.
All teams are encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes and to dress comfortably for active play.
Registration is open now for this lively event. Tickets are $35 per duo, and is open to participants between ages 6 – 13. Spectators are welcome to attend to cheer on the teams!
