Vice Mayor Gary Ashcraft has proudly called Eustis home since 2014, where he resides with his daughter and wife. Originally from Chandler, Arizona and raised in Clarksburg, West Virginia, Gary graduated from West Virginia University with two Bachelor of Science degrees, including one in Pharmacy.
Since moving to Eustis, Gary has dedicated himself to serving the city and its residents. A licensed pharmacist, he continues to assist at a local pharmacy as needed, and in 2016 he obtained his mortgage license to help families in Lake County realize their dream of homeownership.
Elected to the Eustis City Commission in 2022 and serving as Vice Mayor, Gary is deeply committed to the growth and well-being of the city. He actively supports community clean-up projects, education, youth sports, and local theatre, believing that civic involvement strengthens both quality of life and future opportunity for residents.
With a career that bridges healthcare, business, and public service, Vice Mayor Ashcraft continues to focus his efforts on making Eustis a place where families and businesses can thrive.
