NOTICE OF EUSTIS CITY COMMISSION ATTENDANCEAT A PUBLIC MEETING/EVENT

Notice is hereby given that more than one Eustis City Commissioner may attend and discuss matters relevant to the City of Eustis at the following public meetings and community events:

  • Grand Reopening of Bates Resource Center – Saturday, May 22, 2021, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., 1128 Clifford Ave., Eustis, FL 32726.

  • Annual Memorial Day Celebration – Monday, May 31, 2021, 11:30 a.m., Ferran Park.  Hosted by the American Legion Post #41.

  • Annual Memorial Day Celebration – Monday, May 31, 2021, 11:30 a.m., Ferran Park.  Hosted by the American Legion Post #41.

  • Lake Eustis Area Chamber of Commerce Member Breakfast – Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at 7:15 a.m., Eustis Community Center, 601 Northshore Dr., Eustis.

  • Lake County League of Cities Monthly Meeting – Friday, June 11, 2021, 12:00 p.m. (Noon), Mount Dora Golf Course, 1100 S. Highland St., Mount Dora FL 32757.

 

NOTICE OF CITY OF EUSTIS LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY MEETING

THURSDAY, MAY 20, 2021

On Thursday, May 20, 2021, at 5:50 p.m., the Eustis City Commission sitting as the Local Planning Agency will meet and hold a Public Hearing for the purpose of making recommendations to the City Commission regarding the following items: 1) Ordinance 21-09 amending Chapters 110 and 115 of the Land Development Regulations; and 2) Ordinance 21-10 adopting a Comprehensive Plan text amendment.  The meeting will be held in the City Hall Commission Room, 10 N. Grove St., Eustis, FL.  The agenda and information pertaining to the business of the LPA will be available through the City’s website or through the City Clerk’s office, located in City Hall at 10 N. Grove Street during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

NOTICE OF CITY OF EUSTIS COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING

THURSDAY, MAY 20, 2021

On Thursday, May 20, 2021, at 5:45 p.m., the Eustis City Commission sitting as the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will meet to consider business pertaining to the CRA. The meeting will be held in the City Hall Commission Room, 10 N. Grove St., Eustis, FL.  The agenda and information pertaining to the business of the CRA will be available through the City’s website or through the City Clerk’s office, located in City Hall at 10 N. Grove Street during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Commission, Agency or other above-named Board with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (Florida Statutes, 286.0105).  Persons with disabilities needing assistance to participate in any of these proceedings should contact the office of the City Clerk at (352) 483-5430, at least 48 hours before the date of the scheduled meeting.

On Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 5:50 p.m., the Eustis City Commission sitting as the Local Planning Agency will meet and hold a Public Hearing for the purpose of making recommendations to the City Commission regarding the following items: 1) Ordinance 21-12 amending the future land use map of the Comprehensive Plan for 10.72 acres of real property located at Fish Camp Road and Grand Island Shores.  The meeting will be held in the City Hall Commission Room, 10 N. Grove St., Eustis, FL.  The agenda and information pertaining to the business of the LPA will be available through the City’s website or through the City Clerk’s office, located in City Hall at 10 N. Grove Street during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
