Today's Sept. 29 WM collection will still be picked-up tomorrow, Sept. 30. Friday's scheduled collection is not impacted, but may be 2 hours later than normal. City Staff is working hard to clear storm related debris. Curb any storm debris immediately (no metal). City Administrative Offices are still closed Thur., Sept. 29 & Fri., Sept. 30. Normal operations will resume on Mon., Oct 3.

This Friday, November 26, 2021 the City of Eustis will host the 34th Annual Light-Up Eustis Celebration in historic downtown from 5 – 9 p.m. with a specular light-up ceremony beginning at 6:00 p.m. This free, family-friendly event will include live entertainment, a 75-foot snow slide, a stilt walking Toy Solider, Dancer the live reindeer, food trucks, vendors and strolling Carolers by The Caroling Company.
Also, expect a special visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus who will sleigh in from the North Pole. Children will be invited to take a free photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus and decorate a personalized keepsake frame.
“This year’s annual Light-Up Eustis celebration promises to offer some magical moments. We invite everyone in our community to celebrate this festive time of year with us,” said City Mayor, Michael Holland.
The event will kick-off at 5:00 p.m. in Ferran Park as the Bay Street Player’s Young People’s Theater takes the stage. Then at 6:00 p.m. the public is invited to join Mayor Holland, members of City Commission, and the winners of the Miss Eustis Pageant in a countdown ceremony to watch approximately 400,000 LED holiday lights and a 50-foot Christmas tree come to life. Afterwards, the Eustis Heights Elementary “Tiger Sound” and LifePointe Church, will perform in the center of downtown starting at 7 p.m.
