Government Closure for Memorial Day

The Eustis City Government will be closed Monday, May 29, 2023, in observance of Memorial Day. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 31.
The American Legion Post 41, in partnership with the City of Eustis, will host a Memorial Day Service to honor our nation’s fallen and pay homage to local service members. The Service will occur on Monday, May 29, at 11:00 a.m. in Ferran Park (250 Ferran Park Drive). The public is invited and encouraged to attend. Eustis Memorial Library
The Library will be closed from Saturday, May 27 – Monday, May 29.
Parks & Recreation Services
Youth programs at Carver Park will be closed Monday, May 29.
Aquatic Center
Saturday, May 27, the Aquatic Center (250 Ferran Park Drive) will welcome the public to enjoy swimming and the splash pad from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Entry into the Aquatic Center is $2 for children 11 and under and $3 for 12 and over. Additionally, the Aquatic Center plans to announce its seasonal operating hours in the near future. Please check our website at eustis.org for further information.
Garbage/Yard Trash/Recycling Service
Residential: No refuse or recycling collection service Monday, May 29. Regular Monday service will be picked up on Tuesday, May 30. Garbage/recycling/yard waste will be picked up the day after your scheduled pick-up.
Additionally, there will be no commercial container services on the holiday. Those customers whose service day falls on Monday will have their containers serviced on an alternate day during the week.
