NOTICE OF EUSTIS CITY COMMISSION ATTENDANCE AT PUBLIC MEETINGS/EVENTS

SEPTEMBER / OCTOBER 2023 PUBLIC NOTICES
AS OF SEPTEMBER 19, 2023

Notice is hereby given that more than one Eustis City Commissioner may attend and discuss matters relevant to the City of Eustis at the following public meetings and community events:

  • Citizen’s Academy Opening Night – Tuesday, September 19, 2023, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Eustis Police Department, 51 E. Norton Avenue, Eustis, FL 32726.
  • Northshore Neighborhood Watch Meeting – (Every other month the 3rd Wednesday) September 20, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Eustis Community Center (Lakeview Room) located at 601 Northshore Dr, Eustis. 
  • Lake Technical College Council on Occupational Education Reaccreditation Team – September 25, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at Lake Technical College located at 2001 Kurt Street, Eustis, FL 32726.
  • Eustis High School Homecoming Parade - Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at Ferran Park located at 250 Ferran Park Drive, Eustis, FL 32726.
  • America in Bloom Symposium & Awards Celebration– Wednesday, September 27, 2023 to Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the Spartanburg Marriott located at 299 N Church Street in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
  • Trout Lake Nature Center's 4th Annual Fundraiser Jungle Fest - Thursday, September 28, 2023 located at Eustis Community Center located at 601 Northshore Dr., Eustis, FL.
  • Lake Eustis Area Chamber of Commerce Member Breakfast – (1st Wednesday) Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 7:15 a.m., Eustis Community Center located at 601 Northshore Dr., Eustis, FL.
  • 2023 Affordable Housing For All Forum – Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.at Clermont City Center located to 620 W. Montrose Street, Clermont, FL 34711.
  • Modern Schoolhouse (Fun 4 Lake Kids) City Hall Informational Tour – Friday, October 6, 2023 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at City Hall located at 10 N. Grove Street, Eustis, FL 32726.
  • Lake County League of Cities 2023 Golf Outing - Friday, October 13, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Mount Dora Country Club located at 1100 S. Highland Street, Mount Dora, FL 32757.
  • Eustis High School Presents Panther Pride in the Park with Guest Artist Thomas McClary – Saturday, October 21, 2023 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Eustis Community Center located at 6021 North Shore Drive, Eustis, FL. 
  • Cassia Day – Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Cassis Community Club located at 29245 SR44, Eustis FL 32726.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Commission, Agency or other above-named Board with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (Florida Statutes, 286.0105).  Persons with disabilities needing assistance to participate in any of these proceedings should contact the office of the City Clerk at (352) 483-5430, at least 48 hours before the date of the scheduled meeting.
