PUBLIC NOTICE OF EUSTIS CITY COMMISSION ATTENDANCE
AT PUBLIC MEETINGS/EVENTS
APRIL - JUNE 2024

Notice is hereby given that more than one Eustis City Commissioner may attend and discuss matters relevant to the City of Eustis at the following public meetings and community events:

  • Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics - Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at Special Olympics Headquarters located at 1915 Don Wickham Dr., Clermont, FL 34711.
  • Meet Your Neighbors Spaghetti Dinner Discussion/Question Session with Forward Paths and its Neighbors – Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church located at 600 South Grove Street, Eustis, FL.
  • Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Public Information Meeting for U.S. 441 at Lake Park Court Median Improvements for Lake County Financial Project Identification (FPID) No.: 992400-1 – Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Eustis Community Center located at 601 Northshore Drive, Eustis, FL 32726.
  • UCF Business Incubation Stakeholder Breakfast – Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at UCF Downtown Campus located at 500 West Livingston St., Orlando, FL.

  • 35th Annual Community Service Awards - Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.at The Venetian Center located at 1 Dozier Circle, Leesburg, FL 34748.
  • Joint Workshop with Eustis City Commission and Lake County Board of Commissioners – Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Eustis Community Center located at 601 Northshore Drive, Eustis, FL.
  • Northshore Neighborhood Watch Meeting - (Every other month - 3rd Wednesday) Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Eustis Community Center (Lakeview Room) located at 601 Northshore Drive, Eustis, FL.

 

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Commission, Agency or other above-named Board with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (Florida Statutes, 286.0105).  Persons with disabilities needing assistance to participate in any of these proceedings should contact the office of the City Clerk at (352) 483-5430, at least 48 hours before the date of the scheduled meeting.
