Downtown Design Guidelines

On the 15th of January 2004 the Eustis City Commission adopted Ordinance 03-73 which created the Eustis Main Street Development Area and adopted the Development Guidelines for the Eustis Mainstreet Development Area.  The Eustis Main Street Development Area is defined as that area of the city of Eustis consisting of the six full blocks and three partial blocks of the downtown core to include that land north of Citrus Street, west of Center Street, south of Bates Avenue, and east of the Lake Eustis shoreline.

The adoption of the Guidelines requires that all development requests within the city of Eustis Downtown Business District for construction of a building or building facade shall submit its plans for an advisory comment to the Eustis Historic Preservation Board prior to city Staff review for compliance with the city Land Development Regulations.
