Public Arts & Music /Eustis Main Street Inc. is issuing a call for professional
& emerging artists to participate in the award-winning “Arts in the Air” Banner
Project. Banners will be displayed on the lamp poles lining the bricked
downtown streets in Eustis. This “gallery on the streets” runs January 9th to
February 10th, culminating in a Banner Auction & the Magnolia Stroll Wine Walk
on February 18th.
The
deadline for finished banners will be Friday, December 16th. Two-sided Canvas
Banners will be provided for participating artists. Artists must gesso & paint
both sides (gesso provided if needed) and use acrylic paint. PAM will seal the
banners. Please call to arrange pick-up or delivery of your banner. The number
of artists is limited. The project theme is “Art is Life”. Artists will be
recognized in promotional materials and during the auction event.
Finished banners can be delivered in Eustis to: 112 McCulloch‘s Alley
(352-406-1990) or Eustis Main Street, 127 N. Grove Street, (352-357-8555) Please

Proceeds from the auction help fund the top-ranked, free, 15th Annual Lake
County Folk Festival, held October 13-14th in historic downtown Eustis. Support
for this project comes from the volunteer efforts of Eustis Main Street /Public
Arts & Music, (PAM) and the City of Eustis.
“Arts in the Air ” is just one of Eustis/Lake County events which bring art and
community together, encouraging a tour of the city’s streets, promoting local
artists, and helping fund an free music festival. If you are an artist
