Eustis, FL –
We are growing and
open for business - and the proof was evident with the ribbon cutting ceremony
of the new Wells Fargo Advisors offices on October 27th at the corner
of Bay St. and McDonald Ave. in Eustis. The new two-story building, Fountain
Place, located in Historic Downtown Eustis has more than 3,800 square feet per
floor, with the ground floor being occupied by Wells Fargo Advisors. When fully
staffed, 10 employees will occupy the ground floor. The second floor of the new
building, with elevator, is available for additional office space.
The need for more
retail and living space in the downtown has grown considerably since the
completion of the downtown streetscape project. Local builder, Daniel
Divenanzo, identified this need and began working with the property owner, Lake
Community Foundation, to design a facility that would have a look consistent
with the rest of the downtown. Daniel also worked with the City’s Development
Services Department to ensure a smooth and “fast-track” development approval
process, and that the project was in keeping with the City’s Downtown Master
Plan.
“The project was a
cooperative effort with the City, Lake Community Foundation, and the building
owner,“ said Divenanzo. “Everything went smoothly from start to finish.”
Wells Fargo Advisors
has already joined the other downtown businesses in showing their community
pride by partnering with the Eustis Art League to have the work of local artists
displayed in their spaces.
Growth in Historic
Downtown Eustis does not stop with this new building. Construction of a 3-story
building has already begun at the corner of Eustis Street and McDonald Avenue.
Plans for this building include retail shops at ground level with apartments on
the 2nd and 3rd floor.
“This new
construction has revitalized the downtown,“ said Eustis Mayor Michael Holland.
“More people working and living in the downtown core will bring excitement
throughout the City and encourage new growth and expansion.”
