Eustis, FL
– The Eustis City Government will be closed for normal business in observance of
Labor Day on Monday, September 5, 2011. Normal hours of business will
resume on Tuesday, September 6th. In addition, the following services are
affected:
Eustis Memorial Library
The Library will be closed Saturday – Monday, September 4-5
*Parks & Recreation Services
The following Parks & Rec program activities will be closed on Labor Day:
Youth
programs (Carver Park)
Line Dancing (American Legion Bldg)
Fitness class (Carver Park)
Jazz-er-cise (American Legion Bldg)
Congregate meals (Eustis Service Center)
Zumba (Community Center)
The
Aquatic Center will be open 11 am – 3 pm on Labor Day.
*Scheduled rentals
of recreation facilities are not affected by holiday closures.
Garbage/Yard
Trash/Recycling Service
No garbage
collection service Monday, September 5th. Normal Monday service will be
picked up on the customer’s second collection day which is Thursday, September
8th. However, recycling & yard debris will be picked up on Tuesday,
September 6th, the day following Labor Day.There will not be Commercial
Container Services on September 5th. Those customers whose service day
falls on Monday will have their container serviced on an alternate day,
following the holiday.
