Eustis, FL
– Organizers of the
Clifford House Artisan Market are now accepting registrations from artisans to
share their art and craft at the March 17th Artisan Market.
The event, which takes place on the
grounds of the 100 year old Clifford House in Eustis, will showcase artists from
diverse fields, including painting, sculpture, quilting, woodworking, stained
glass, jewelry making and much more.
“Last year’s event was a success,”
says Lynn Herrick, a painter who exhibited in the first show. “I’m excited to
be back at the Clifford House. The setting was perfect and the museum
volunteers took great care of us artists.”
For organizers, bringing art back to
the Clifford House was an easy decision.
“It’s just such a natural fit for the
museum,” says Tim Totten, Museum President. “The Clifford House is a work of
art, built by craftsmen, so it makes sense for us to feature the work of other
artists and artisans with an event like this.”
Early registration, which ends March 1st,
starts at just $25 per artist. The fee reserves a 10-foot by 10-foot space on
the grounds for the event. This year, the organizers will offer a limited
number of spaces under large tents. The market runs from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm
on Saturday, March 17th, 2012. Admission for the public is free.
