The City Attorney is appointed
and serves at the pleasure of
the City Commission, who acts as
the Legal Advisor to, and
Attorney and Counselor for the
City and all its officers in
matters relating to their
official duties.
The City Attorney serves as Chief
Legal Advisor to the Commission, the City Manager and all City Departments
and offices. The City Attorney also represents the City in all legal
proceedings.
