Application for Appointment of Interim Commissioner

EUSTIS CITY COMMISSION 
NOTICE OF APPLICATION PERIOD
FOR APPOINTMENT OF INTERIM COMMISSIONER

Notice is hereby given that the Eustis City Commission will accept applications for appointment as Interim City Commissioner, Seat #5.  The application period will be from 8:00 a.m., Monday, March 25, 2019, through 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2019.  Applications are available in the City Clerk’s office and must be submitted along with the applicant’s voter’s registration card and a Florida photo ID such as driver’s license.  Applicants must be registered voters of the City of Eustis and have resided within the City for a period of at least one year or have resided on recently annexed property for a period of at least one year including time before and after annexation.  The term of office for the Interim Commissioner will be from the date of appointment, until the elected replacement is sworn in following certification of the November 2020 election.
